How
does my club or sports association become a member of the SLOC? |

Members
of the SLOC must first be recognised as a true practicing sport
by the International Federation (I.F.). Application for membership
should be made in writing to the address listed on the contacts
page. |

Who
can join the SLOC? |
| |
Olympic/
Commonwealth game Sports organisations that have been recognised
as National Federations are welcome to join the SLOC. Please
note that individuals seeking assistance need to go through
the relevant national federation body. |

What
financial assistance can the SLOC offer? |
| |
The SLOC
can offer assistance for participation in major championships
under the Olympic banner and training for technical personnel.
Limited financial assistance is available for internal affiliates
for internal programmes. If you would like to be a recipient
of SLOC funding, submit in writing a proposal outlining the
programme, a rationale, a budget and any information you think
would be helpful to the SLOC. |

What
are the working hours of the SLOC? |

The SLOC
is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 4.30 pm. |

Does
the SLOC provide opportunities for training? |
| |
The SLOC
facilitates training opportunities through an annual programme
in conjunction with the Hungarian Institute of Physical Education.
We also keep track of other opportunities which arise. For information
on courses and seminars visit the Pan American Sports Organisation
(PASO) website. PASO is an international regional organisation
recognised by the IOC. |

is the SLOC funded? |
| |
The SLOC
is funded through Olympic Solidarity in Lausanne Switzerland,
and the PASO office in Mexico. |
